Jennifer
Aldred was the Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Policy and
Science and edited the Australian Quarterly for nine years. She has also
co-edited two books for the Institute. She has had fourteen years experience
in the NSW public service, for the past five years working as a consultant
doing public policy and legislative review for both government and the not-for-profit
sector.
She has been an adviser to three NSW Ministers, holds a Master of
Public Policy (Syd) and a Master of Legal Studies (UNSW). She
would like to do a PhD in the role and use of consultants in public sector
management in the near future.
She has now produced two editions and has
many ideas to improve the Australasian Parliamentary Review.
