Vaughn Koops

Dr Vaughn Koops is the Assistant Clerk Committees in the Legislative Assembly, Parliament of Victoria. Vaughn joined the Victorian Parliament Joint Investigatory Committees as a Research Officer in 2003, and from 2005, worked as Executive Officer to five Joint Committees prior to his appointment as Assistant Clerk — Committees in 2014. He was the Assistant Clerk — Procedure and Serjeant‑at‑Arms from July 2016 to June 2020 and returned to the role of Assistant Clerk — Committees in July 2020. Vaughn has a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts (1st class Hons) from Auckland University and a PhD from Melbourne University. Vaughn has been Treasurer of the Victorian Chapter of the ASPG since 2015.
